These are not meant to be rules to being a good Guardian, but rather a happy one. I have found in my tanking career in many MMOs that when I break these commandments, I'm in for a quick shot of misery. Feel free to add/modify.
1. Thou shalt not tank for PUGs, except as a penance for thy sins.
2. Honor thy Priest.
3. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's DPS, for they are squishy and the wearer of silly dresses.
4. Honor thy shield.
5. Thou shalt take no joy in thy neigbor's nerf, for all nerfs are an abomination in the eyes of the Gods.
6. Thou shalt not soil thine own Forums with flames, for thou art Tank, and are therefore the bigger man.
7. Thou shall start every group by invoking the Holy Chant of Tankage: "Aggro is a group responsibility."
8. Thou shalt pull.
9. Thou art the first to attack, and the last to run.
10. For the goodness of thine many labors, thou deserveth to kill thy neighbor in PvP.
