This guide is a general guide for the abilities and skills of the Conqueror class.
Note: The X's will be filled in with the level 80 info when it is available. All the places there are X’s means the ability scales with your level.
Equipment
Weapons
The conqueror specializes in wielding either 1 two-handed (edged or blunt) or 2 one-handed weapons (edged or blunt).
The following ranged weapons are also available.
- Throwing Spears
- Throwing Daggers
- Throwing Axes
- Crossbows (level 50)
Armor
From the start of the game you are able to wear medium armor and light armor. At level 30 you can start wearing heavy armor.
Shields, cloth, and plate mail are unavailable to the Conqueror.
Standard Abilities
Furious Inspiration (FI)
This ability is a group proc that is not listed in any of the ability screens. When you are in a party and another member is hit by melee or ranged (non magical) combat there is a high chance Furious Inspiration will become active. This buff you get stacks up to 10 times and can be refreshed and stay at this mark for as long as another member of your group takes damage. Only the Conqueror gets this buff, but the heal and resurrection proc's effect the whole group.
- buff duration 15 seconds
- 2% damage buff per stack (max 20%)
- X Heal (max x)
- 1 combat resurrection for any group member at 10 stacks. The combat res is a proc chance on hit.
Charge (level 18) (currently bugged)
The skill catapults you toward the enemy delivering a nice big over head attack. Buff this up with some of your feats for a nice big hit and/or knockdown.
Frenzy Stance (level 15)
This stance provides you with a 60% increase in damage but also de-buffs all of your invulnerabilities by 100%.
Defensive Stance (level 15)
This stance provides you with a +15% increase in taunt and a +6 increase in slashing\blunt\piercing invulnerabilities. As a trade off your damage is reduced by 15%.
Orders (level 20)
Orders affect all of your group mates that are around you. It doesn't have a huge range probably about 10 steps in range around. All Orders last for 20 seconds.
Battle Orders (group) – provides a 2% damage increase.
Battle Orders (self) – provides a 1% damage increase.
Battle Orders (group) – Proc on hit restores x health and x stamina.
Resolute Orders (self) – Proc on hit restores x health and x stamina.
Skirmish Orders (group and self) – In defensive stance 2% increase in hate, in frenzy stance 2% reduced hate.
Commands (level 40)
All commands only work on people standing behind the Conqueror when he uses the ability. It also only last for 20 seconds, and has about the same 10 pace range.
Steadfast Command (group) – This ability restores X stamina and mana every 2 seconds.
Steadfast Command (self) – This ability restores X stamina every 2 seconds.
Barrage Command (group) – This ability increases spell damage by X and ranged damage by 15.
Barrage Command (self) – This ability increases ranged damage by X.
Cover Command (group) – This ability procs heals for X when hit by ranged or magical damage. 2 second cool down on the proc.
Cover Command (self) – This ability procs heals for X when hit by ranged or magical damage. 2 second cool down on the proc.
Formations (level 60)
All formations only work on group members standing in front of you when you use the ability. The effect lasts for 20 seconds and has the same 10 pace range.
Formation of steel (group) – This ability provides a X damage absorption shield.
Formation of steel (self) – This ability provides a X damage absorption shield.
Formation of Resolve (group) – This ability provides X Stamina Regen proc when struck.
Formation of Resolve (group) – This ability provides X Stamina Regen proc when struck..
Formation of retribution (group) – This ability provides X damage retribution effect.
Formation of retribution (group) – This ability provides X damage retribution effect.
Auras
As a Conqueror you can have one Defensive Aura and one Offensive Aura up at any give time. All Auras affect your group and last for 3 hours or when you die in PvE.
Offensive
Incite the Ranks (level 10) – This aura Adds +X melee DPS to all group members.
Fire Weave (level 15) – This aura add +X fire damage to melee and ranged damage. It also has a chance to proc an instant X fire damage hit that also de-buffs the enemy with a –X% fire invulnerability.
Hoarfrost (level 50) – This aura adds +X cold damage to melee and ranged damage. It also has a chance to proc an instant X frost damage hit that also de-buffs the enemy with a -X% cold invulnerability.
Rage of the Tempest (Level ) - This aura adds +X electrical damage to melee and ranged damage. It also has a chance to proc and instant X electrical damage in a small radius.
Defensive
Marshal the ranks (level 10) –This aura provides a +X% chance to hit an enemy.
To the Death (level 35) – This aura provides X damage soak shield.
Shield of retribution (level 42) – This ability provides everyone with a X damage retribution effect. The effect of the retribution is higher, X amount of damage, on the conqueror.
Inspire the ranks (level 45) – This aura regenerates X amount of stamina every 3 seconds.
Vitalize the ranks (level 60) – This ability restores X amount of mana every 2 seconds.
Rally the Troops (Level 80) – This ability restores X stamina and X mana every 3 seconds.
Skills
Bandaging (Level 1) – This skill increases the amount of health regenerated when using the Rest skill. Every 50 points has a noticeable effect.
Fast Bandaging (Level 18)– This skill provides a chance to double the amount of HP that is healed by the Rest skill. Every 25 points has a noticeable effect.
Recovery (Level 1) – This skill increases the amount of stamina regenerated when using the Rest skill. Every 50 points has a noticeable effect.
Fast Recovery (Level 18)– This skill provides a chance to double the amount of Stamina that is regenerated with the Rest skill. Every 25 points has a noticeable effect.

Running (Level 5) – This skill increases your Out of Combat run speed. 100 points adds about 1% to your speed: http://forums.ageofconan.com/showthread.php?t=51367
Climbing (Level 5) – This skill determines the level of object you can climb. When attempting to climb and object you will be notified of how much is required to climb if you don’t have enough.
Hiding (Level 18) – This skill is determines if you can hide in your current environment and if you re seen. Every 25 points seems to allow you to hide more and more in the open or in lighted areas.
Perception (level 12) – This skill allows you to detect hidden players while using the Search skill. This skill is either bugged or completely unreliable.
Taunt (level 18) – This skill increase the amount of hate generated when you hit a mob. Every 50 points seems to allow you to hold a mob better. Note: for the life of me I can’t keep a mob off of Demo’s maybe bugged?
