Simply cast unending breath on your friend before they fly to the new island (Unending Breath - Spells - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=5697)) - It also works with Warlocks spell "Unending Breath"
After they are teleported from IF to the new island they will have fatigue during flight and eventually die before they land
