Having a girlfriend and playing wow don't mix. They always get pissed when they come over and you are playing. Or they are jealous and don't understand why you would rather spend a night playing a game instead of going out with them. So, I started working on a whole plan for how to get a girl to play WoW. It goes something like this.
Step #1 - Establish dominance. Play Wow around them, you can obviously go AFK to do certain things with them but for the most part. Try to spend some time playing WoW every time that they are over. This establishes that WoW is a part of your life and it isn't going anywhere.
Step #2 - Deceive them. When the start asking about why you play wow so much (and trust me, if you do step #1 right this will be asked very quickly) start throwing uncategorical facts at them. Such as, running a guild with 100+ people and making 25 people coordinate themselves for several hours a week takes an extreme amount of leadership that most people don't incure in their normal day to day lives. Ask her when the last time was that she planned a schedule for the next month for 100 people. That will shut her up real fast. The purpose here is to establish the credibility of WoW and show that playing it actually increases your life skills.
Step #3 - Manipulate them. Start telling her every time you talk to her that she should play WoW. Start pushing the fact that if she played WoW with you you could spend more time together. Dangling the carrot of an intimate relationship in front of her will greatly increase the chances that she will give up and play wow with you. When she is with you make her watch you play and explain parts of the game to her. The fact that you show attention to her and you lovingly explain things to her makes her even more vulnerable.
Step #4 - Trap them. Here is the most important step and perhaps the hardest to pull off. Invite her over some time. When she gets there you should be playing WoW. Here's the tricky part, Have a friend call you after she has been out your house for about 10 minutes. Make up a story about how you have to go pick something up from the friends house or you have to go get dinner or something. Tell her to just wait there and you will be right back. Basically, just get yourself out of the house and leave her alone with your computer. Promise her that she can look up facebook or myspace or whatever. The thing is, and i can do this on my Mac real easy, make every icon in your dock or on your desktop the WoW icon. Don't have any other program easily accessible. Just make it so that any button she pushes starts up WoW. Most girls are retarded about computers anyways so they wouldn't know how to get around it. Now, have a post-it not beside your computer that has your WoW account info so she can easily just log in. She will inevitably make a Blood elf or something like that and when you show back up she will be playing WoW.
You have now trapped her, promise to help her level her character up and promise that you will spend quality time with her playing WoW and everything will be fine. I hope this guide helps someone. I know it has worked for me. :)
