View Full Version : Did not receive email
Hi there,
I am trying to email myself a temporary Recovery password from MMOEx. After clicking on the "Forgot password?" link, I do not receive any emails.
I do know that my email is correct, as I was able to receive the email containing the temporary password working before. But lately, I was not able to receive any emails from MMOEx.
Please help!
Thanks.
I am also not getting notification emails. I have tried on 2 different email addresses and nothing for a few days now. I also have checked the filtered email box to see if the spam filter is catching them and they are not there either.
Please help!

Make sure that the emails aren't getting put into a spam folder, or being filtered as junk mail. You need to make sure and allow emails from buyersuppor@mmoex.com or sellerersuppor@mmoex.com (which are the addresses that status-updates email will come from).
Please read my email - I stated clearly that I DID check the spam filtered emails. NO EMAIL WAS SENT TO EITHER OF MY MAILBOXES AND THEY ARE NOT BEING FILTERED. Please stop sending the canned response and investigate.

No need to yell...I'm sorry that I missed your original statement.
It is possible that one of the following issues might be happening in your case:
1- Your email service provider is rejecting emails from MMOEx mail servers. They may have have spam filters in place,- or they may just have some kind of configuration error thus returning emails to MMOEx servers. Therefore you'll need to add MMOEx's mailing address into your contact list to ensureyou receive all important MMOEx updates.
2- Emails are delayed. The problem occurred because the anti-virus system stopped allowing connections from the local mail subsystems. The way the anti-virus system works is that it only works on the local system, it does not accept any connections from outside of the server itself. Our monitoring systems can see that the mail system was working and accepting messages, but it can not tell if the messages are being delivered.
Again please remember that this is not an "official" MMOEx support forum - people here are *not* on the MMOEx support team...and are just community members trying to help improve MMOEx...which is why I am continuously suggesting that people visit our Instant Support system to get a picture on what's happening on this site.
