Priest or Paladin?

I am about to re-roll I have played many DPS and tank classes.
So now I want a change, I have decided I want to heal, buff, and do some ranged stuff.
What should I go with priest or pally?

if you want to do that last part "do some ranged stuff" do not roll paladin. roll priest, level with shadow, melt faces.
