Arena Season 3 items: Personal and Team rating are now required
Items that require a personal arena rating, will now also require arena team rating.
Please be aware that with this week’s maintenance, purchasing arena season 3 items that have a required arena personal rating will now also require the purchaser’s arena team rating to be at the same point values as well. Unfortunately, this will not be properly displayed within the game; the in-game display will be fixed soon in an upcoming patch. Rogue: Cheatdeath bug to be fixed in a future patch (src (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=3270771609&postId=33482757238&sid=1#1))
There is a known issue which causes Cheatdeath to be inconsistent (not working when you are getting the CD message), a fix will be inlcuded in a future patch.
Items: Issue with Group Loot (src (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=3268471983&postId=33543352369&sid=1#2))
Sometimes with Group Loot enabled, a party member can loot several corpses in a row, this is a known issue and a fix will be included in a future patch.
Inventory: Bigger Backpacks (src (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=3270774412&postId=33489457800&sid=1#2))
Having bigger backpacks is a possibility, but no final decision has been reached on the backpack at this time.
WotLK: Update TBC gear for the expansion? (src (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=3268474477&postId=33482759946&sid=1#131))
We have heard this request before and it is something we have chosen not to do so far. We have not added an option to upgrade items yet and while I understand you want it to be the same strength, having them retain armor models and provide an extra bonus (even small), can put other players at a disadvantage.
WotLK: Dont expect a third profession to be available with WotLK (src (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=3271184417&postId=33543248977&sid=1#2))
I don't really see a compelling reason to add a third profession to characters. I think it is a good thing that players need to pick their professions, if players aren't willing to "break" their current combination then it seems they don't want the third one enough, but it is likely someone will pick it up any you can contact them for any BoE materials.
As an example with just two level 70s, one with all of the gathering professions and the other with Blacksmithing, Engineering, and Enchanting. With just two characters I'd have access to over half of the professions and all of the BoP items that go with each one. We want to make these BoP items strong but if players can have so many of them, they would probably be weakened.
Does having another profession benefit a character? Yes, it gives you options to more items, bother to be shared with others and bind-on-pickup that will make the character stronger. Is this better for the game? I don't think so as it allows players to have a much wider range of items and takes away from the idea of picking your profession.
