This isn't a QQ post, don't worry. I merely wish to discuss if hunters think it was a necessary buff. Here's what I'm thinking:
There are plenty of ways to avoid deadzone and/or prevent it, since wyvern is now instant, you also have scatter shot, silencing shot, BW which don't even get me started on, etc. Add that into your PvP trinket and you have plenty of ways to escape CC. Not to mention in survival tree have increased chance to resist snares. Was it really a necessary buff? Is this going to make hunters overpowered? The only thing it concerns me is that hunter will be EVEN EASIER to play than it already was. Before they removed premades on the PTR for2.3, I played a dwarf and tauren marksman hunter, and I did absolutely fine. I beat almost everybody that came my way. I can't imagine NOT having a dead zone. It will be ... you'll be the new warlocks. As for MS on Aimed Shot, that was a good buff. Many warriors QQ about it, but MS will still be better all in all. Back to deadzone, now you will only have to take a few steps out of the way just to get back into ranged. Casters will have to be constantly moving, and when you have 2k auto-shots, arcane shots and multi shot crits coming at you, you can't do that. I've yet to go in depth on the PTR (I only tested it to see if my frost bolt damage changed dramatically), but from what I've theorycrafted this seems like a whole new generation of huntards will be brewed out of this. As for disarming shot, I don't think thats necessary. You can disarm a guy right when he gets in melee, wing clip him and he's screwed? Come on...
