Apparently this is the case. There's an article up on WoWInsider today about real life World of Warcraft recipes (http://www.wowinsider.com/2007/11/05/real-recipes-inspired-by-wow/) courtesy of The Bronze Kettle (http://www.thebronzekettle.com/).
Included in the list is the infamous Dragonbreath Chili (http://www.thebronzekettle.com/?p=36) - which they've managed to make so spicy that you may actually belch fire after eating it, as well as Mudder's Milk, Blessed Sunfruit Juice and Soft Banana Bread. It'll certainly be interesting to see what these folks cook up next (yes, pun intended).
So, what have you created outside of WoW that came from the game?
