I read a post by Malderas, and how ret is still hated on the PTR and it got my thinking... WHY would people still hate it, and it it dawned upon me... it is quite plain and simple...
Go back to High School, or if you are in High School, think about a kid who is bullied. No one takes hims erious... no one cares much for him. Why though? Well maybe because he isn't a cool kid... jsut because he cant play soccer... or lacrosse, or act or do w/e as good as you. Even though he has his own quirks he was not as good as you... he had to try to hard. And you HATED him for that. Then a few years pass, and he becomes better, more useful. He actually can act, and sing, good enough to make the part... good enough to make the team, but for some reason people still hate him. Why though! Why do you still hate him? Because he is almost as good as you... and he is not one of thoese "Rich" kids who you can mooch to much off of that all of a sudden now you have to kiss their ass, he is just another person who you might lose your spot too, maybe jsut maybe....
Same thing goes with Ret... People didn't like us because we weren't as good as them.... and now that we are comparable.. they hate us... for that reason. And we are not super rich in buffs like an enhancement shaman so it is less of a need to have us around. This mentality has held through the ages true in schools and workplaces everywhere, and all in all we are all ordinary people and the same rules will apply.
Fight for our spots... and give them a run for their money!
