Why are they called huntards?

That's basically it. Aside from idiot hunters who trap you then smack you with their cyrstalforge axe of doom while their Wintersaber Cat goes RAWR RAWR dps.. why are they huntards? I'm run into a great deal of well played hunters, my best friend is a hunter, and I find pug groups Heroic or not to have a good amount of hunters in it.

So why does this class get so much flak?
