Book 11: Defenders of Eriador details:

Shadows of Angmar. Update 11: Defenders of Eriador will include a host of new features, as well as class changes and improvements.

One of the biggest new additions to the game with this update is player housing. This isn't your typical housing, either - you'll be able to become part of a growing player neighborhood; no instanced apartment rooms here. Your house is seen by everyone else who visits the neighborhood. To commemorate the launch of player housing, there's a new article available called "Making Houses into Homes (http://lotro.turbine.com/article/427)" that describes all of the features players can find in LotRO's housing.

Another new addition is raid content for 12 players, in the form of "The Rift" - an ancient lair originally inhabited by Fire-giants. To read more about this new raid content, head over to the "Rift of Nûrz Ghâshu (http://www.lotro.com/article/426) article.

Like with Book 10, there are two classes being reviewed in Book 11 for improvements. This time around it's the Lore-master (http://www.lotro.com/article/425) and Minstrel (http://www.lotro.com/article/424).

That's not all the content coming in Book 11 though! Turbine promises a new 12 chapter epic quest arc, Monster Play enhancements and "Fellowship Maneuvers," more musical instruments, the Harvest Festival and Yule Celebrations, more than 60 new quests, three new areas: Tâl Bruinen (Trollshaws), Northern High Pass (Misty Mountains) and Southern High Pass (Misty Mountains), as well as Goblin-town.
