Howdy all,
Now, for all those who do play on the test realms, and like to see how different classes can / will stack against each other in equal gear, i wonder how many of you will agree with the following statement.
As far as im concerned "Death Knight" is the second hero class, behind Warlock. I'm not going to list the numerous reasons why this is true, in fact many non warlocks or "nw" as we shall call them, will simply know this for truth.
In a game where class balance is constantly being adjusted, and where there are a relatively decent number of classes, one can expect that balance is never going to be perfect, and this is something that anyone who thinks logically can understand. Crying "omg blizz nerf x class coz they beat me" is just counter-productive and a waste of time.
However, I challenge any one of the blues here, or even a dev to perhaps log onto the test realms with a pre-generated warlock char and jump into some pvp. If you can truthfully tell me that when u just seeded those 4 guys and they all exploded in a chain reaction of death, or when you can (for 452 health) get back 1600 mana, and then simply drain back about 2000 health from the nearest hostile, or even when your 360 degree instant cast dots are ticking away on 8 different targets while u sit 36 yards away and look at the scoreboard to see you've just done 200k damage since your last death without having to put yourself at risk. When you consider these things and the warlock class v everyone else in general, if you can truly tell me with a straight face that this is balanced, then I yield.
Until then, I pray rolling the second hero class "Death Knight" may give the team mates i'm healing comparable damage and survivability, instead of them just qqing because they know there's no point trying against the big, bad warlock.
Many thanks to whomever has taken the time to read.
Good Day All
