Trading card games based on popular MMOs are quite popular these days. The WoW TCG is going strong, and there are even couple of interviews from the game's developers in the news today today. EVE Online has a TCG, and we are waiting with baited breath for the rumored LOTRO TCG, the Guild Wars TCG, and the Second Life All Nude TCG: Pervert's Edition to hit the shelves.

If you play LoN, the developers solomnly promise that this cutie will be your girlfriend.
But the big news is that Legends of Norrath, the long talked-about TCG based on the Everquest series of MMOs, is now live and kickin'. The twist here is that it's not a regular tabletop TCG, it's online only. This allows for a bit more expressiveness on the part of the cards, artwork, and gameplay features. As a result, this might very well turn out to be a smooth move by SOE to go with a virtual TCG. You can find out more, including their impressive opening cinematic, by jumping (http://legendsofnorrath.station.sony.com/) to the official site.
