Low lvl pet. high lvl hunter = problem here

I'm currently lvl 70 and I want to lvl up my newly tamed lion: The Rake. At 70, I'm going to have to melee a great deal to bring this kitty where she can claw somebody.

And forget about taking her to instance, I don't want the aggro radius of my pet to be an extra burden to my group. Furthermore, I don't want to be a hunter without a pet because that will gimp my dmg and not be as helpful.

My question to the dev team is there any plans to help me with this situation? High lvl hunter, low lvl pet = problem soloing.

I was under the impression that the aggro radius for all pets, regardless of level, were the same.

So, you opted out of the pet when you had the chance to level him by your side, and now the Devs MUST help you?

I tamed Bangalash when I was 56, and for a loooong time I had to help him melee down mobs, now he's 61 and my hunter is 63, It's still a work in progress, but you pay the price for not choosing wisely.

I lvl two pets constantly. . . well actually. . I have the Death Ravager from the lvl 10 warrior quest (got it before they nerfed it so you can't tame him). He is still bugged so I have to lvl a 2nd pet to PvP w/. My Deather Ravager doesn't attack in PvP for some reason, just like I can't heal him with anything but mend pet. . .

I have lvl'd this death ravager from lvl 10 and now he is lvl 36 (I started at lvl 11 w/ him). I randomly tame a different pet for my needs at any given level. . . I use the second one to get something that is closer to my level and works good for PvP. . .

What is a good pet to have at lvl 38 for PvP? I am thinking of a gorilla or something from STV . . . let me know. . . thanks.

There's a post in the Guide session on how to choose pet, might help you to decide. Personally, I'd choose a DPS pet (ravager or cat) for PVP.
