Accelerated experience 1-60 next patch?

Meaning we get far more exp in the next patch? Is it true?

Yes, in the next patch they are increasing the speed that you lvl. Instead of increasing the amount of XP per quest, they are reducing the amount of xp needed to lvl.

But as you get closer and closer to 70, it will get closer and closer to current numbers.

They are also increasing the amount of xp that instances give you but giving a harsher penalty for having high lvl players in the party.

If they bump exp for the lower levels then I would expect all my existing non 70 alts to get a bonus to experience and/or faction. I have spent a lot of time and effert leveling my alts over tha last 3 years and do not want all that time and effort erased by making new charaters level faster with less effort.

When will this take affect? I assume this means you will get better XP if you DONT have over lvl 60 in your raid?

All chars vall just not new ones get the bonus although 60-70 i thought was gonna be the same exp still needed for all. But everyone will benifit from increased xp in instances. And twink depends on your lvl but im assuming with the increased xp gain in instances if you bring a 70 youll proly see the same old numbers as you did last time or maybe less that that even.

edit: From my launch window i got the patch message about downloading while playing so Id say a week or so for the patch could be wrong though.

The 2.2 patch dowload started a 2 weeks ago m8 So still hoping to see it comming. My best guess... next wednesday.

odd mine didn't start and finish till yesterday and when that happens on my pc usualy means patch is a week away maybe thats just my luck lol.
