View Full Version : Why Buff Ret and Protection paladins?

they are both fine as is. i have seen prot paladin tank kara+ and i have seen ret pallys top damage charts and they have a raid wide Vampiric Embrace/Vampiric Touch type effect. so why do you think they need buffs? well maybe ret could use some threat reduction, but thats about it. nothing really big.

They both need to be buffed because they perform poorly at what they were designed to do at level 70 compared to other classes. Prot doesn't have enough stamina to compete consistenly with other tanks past kara (and even THAT is tough for most), and ret has mediocre dps compared to EVERY other class when equally geared.

90% of pallys spec holy at 70 for a reason. Buff prot and ret.

there more healing paladins because other healing classes suck, that doesnt mean protection and ret sucks. warriors only get 2 blocks from shield block. paladins get 8 from Holy shield, hope that boss not attacking too fast for that warrior! ret pallys have great damage and great utility. as i said before, "its raid wide"

I agree, ret and prot are fine at level 2 when you don't even have talent trees.
