Shamans.
Completely susceptible to Mage kiting, Hunter kiting, Fear kiting. Hell, even druids can kite the heck out of a Shaman using travel form. With no cc, dimishing returns on frost shock, and no anti-cc, Shamans are fodder to the combat control game that WoW PvP has become.
On top of that, there is no viable way to disengage from a fight. Frost Nova'd? Shaman is done. Hamstringed? Done. Key and commonly used talents used in PvP that, once used, the Shaman can pretty much call is GG and spirit rez. The only class that a shaman can reliably escape from is a Paladin, and he'd better do it before he's low enough on life for lolhammer.
It used to be that high upfront damage made this not much of an issue. But as has been pointed out continuously for months, TBC changed the way that high level pvp happens. It's much less about burst damage, and much more about either survivability, or combat control. POM/Pyro/trinket mages used to be the way to go...now they're predominately frost. That's probably the best example of the way that PvP has changed the way people play their classes.
Unfortunately for Shamans, there really wasn't anything to change *to*.
Now that I'm done with my QQ, any ideas/fixes/changes to make this better that you can come up with? Shamans need something. I think fixing this one issue is core to the entire shaman pvp problem.
edit: To avoid confusion that pops up later in the thread, I define "kiting" as follows:
"Being able to escape at will negates being kited. Being kited means that you cannot get to the range necessary to do your main damage type *and* the kiter can/does keep you from escaping, hence guaranteeing a kill."
