View Full Version : Who Would Win If All Races Fought?

Think about it, every race for himself who would win? Could be interesting...

Human - Fairly good mix of characters, Warriors, Rogues, Priests, Pallys, Mages, Warlock. Their DPS would be fairly substantial and also warriors with Mortal Strike and Priest / Pallys healing would be a force to be reckoned with.
Human City - Fairly open to attacks, dwarves could take them out quickly if they used the tram. For a frontal attack however it could be hard to take over. Limited ammount of men could get across and with Warriors / Rogues damaging their front rows while ranged nuke by the casters, could be difficult. If enemies got inside their city however they should start saying their prayers.

Dwarf - Again a good mix, Priest, Paladins, Warriors, Rogues, Hunters, maybe lacking on the ranged side compared to many others but they have good healing, good melee and a decent position to strike others from
Dwarf City - Brilliant structure, practically one way in, the dwarves will probably take out the tram and then the only way in is through the gates, it should be impossible to climb to the peak of the mountain they live under and to get inside that way would be pointless aswell. They can always escape through passages or through Old Ironforge to ensure their survival.

Night Elf - Not a great set of people, Druids, Priests, Hunters, Warriors, Rogues, nearly identical to Dwarfs. They have rather bad abilities and to face against others in a full scale attack would be hard to overcome and survive due to bad mix and little support.
Night Elf City - Darnassus is rather awful at defence, you can take a boat / swim to the island, their is a portal leading inside the heart of the city with few defenders, the front gate is very easy to take control over and with few guards inside the city and even fewer that can possibly cause a dent in your army.

Draenei - Difficult to decide on, Mages, Shamans, Paladin, Warrior, Hunter, Priest, could be the making of a very good or very bad army, mages and hunters are agreeably very handy in CC and DPS. However they have 3 healing classes and only 1 melee class, they wont die... quickly, its an unknown whether they have the ability to damage down the army incoming enough.
Draenei City - Exodar is... complicated, it is very big and can be difficult to navigate inside, which could be a big bonus for the defenders. It wouldnt be too hard to break into and not too hard to kill the few guards dotted around the entire city. Theres no real cut-off point where the enemys can only send in only a few (small doors, passage ways) each time.

Orc - A fairly damage based group, Shaman, Warlock, Rogue, Warrior, Hunter, consists of only 1 healer and the rest are on DPS only, not such a great thing for the city in which it lies because after the front gates, the full openness and guerrila warfare can take a huge pounding towards the orcs.
Orc City - The front gates are stone, so fire cant really be used until you get inside the city walls. The front wall is high and majestic, siege warfare could be difficult to break it down, the fairly tight corrider is a good place for the Melee rogues and warriors to shine and curses and shots from the warlock and hunter can give a big blow to the enemies. After that however its open-warfare fighting at best where the Orcs will probably get Zerged to death depending on how the front wall held.

Tauren - Again, a fair selection of troops for them, Druids, Hunters, Warriors, Shamans, in open-warfare it could be difficult to hold up, but from inside their own city it can be a brilliant array of defence, shamans and some druids healing the amass of warriors, cats and hunters.
Tauren City - Thunder Bluff is THE best defence you could probably get if the enemy doesnt have aerial attacks. With only a few able to go up the elevators, they can be cut down by the Warriors and nuked by boomkins / hunters alike. This is if they even keep the elevators working. They stop the elevators and theres practically no way to get in unless you climb the mountain walls.

Undead - Mages. Priests, Rogues, Warriors, Warlocks, a perfect 5 man group for instances some may say, however in a large scale combat they might do even better, Warriors slashing at the front, Rogues flanking at every turn, mages freezing and AoE, warlocks cursing and priests healing. It has the makings for the best army ever. Canibal can also help as when they defeat a group, they heal up very fast and are ready for the next wave.
Undead City The Undercity is the catacombs of Lordaeron and thank god they used it, no aerial attacks can be used, can only get down if the elevators would work, again if they did they will be face in a narrow corridor will fireballs and daggers killing them in their small numbers. Guards are plentiful and a brilliant boss chamber, it could be very difficult to take over.

Blood Elf - Rogues, Mages, Priests, Paladins, Warlocks, very good group mechanics but no warriors. This is a problem as the enemy will be free to engage the healers and ranged DPS as their is no sheild wall to hold the line. Mortal Strike is a no and healing is vastly improved, Paladins and Priests will have a hard time finding who to heal as everyone could be under attack and defensively they have no protection.
Blood Elf City - Silvermoon is pretty, no doubt about that, but easy to take over? Hell yea, like stormwind but with the great defensive start that Stormwind and Orgrimmar alike share. Once an army is on its way they are pretty screwed, they dont have a good defensive strategy and large casualties will occur in the city before even teleporting to the great defence of the Undercity, but with them as enemies too they will be flanked either side and crushed until they are no more....

Please decide which race you think will win, attacking or defending. Personally i choose for:

Attack: Undead
Defence: Taurens (Thunderbluff)

(Gnomes and Trolls dont get a city im afraid)
