Beijing Founder Electronics Co Ltd said yesterday it has sued US game company Blizzard Entertainment over alleged copyright infringement of its fonts.
The suit alleges that some of Founder Electronics's fonts were used without the company's permission for World of Warcraft, they claim they have suffered a loss of 1 billion yuan (US$ 132 million).
Founder Electronics is asking for compensation of 100 million yuan (US$ 13 million) for the alleged infringement - the largest amount claimed by a Chinese company in a copyright case.
