In Terokkar Forest, you might stumble over a quest named 'Taken in the Night'. You have to free some Sha'tar Warriors from Netherweb Ridge.
Sometimes, a ordinary mob will spawn from destroying the 'netherweb victims', and it will run to you.
however, if you shoot this writhing sac, the mob will spawn, but not run to you.
This might be useful for melee classes. Now, they're just gonna shoot the web with their gun/bow/xbow/wand, and stay out of combat with ease. :)
