two ways to get premeum for mmomaven
1. you can pay for the subscription fee here (http://www.mmomaven.com/forum/payments.php4).
2. submit sth useful here (http://www.mmomaven.com/forum/forumdisplay.php4?f=51) to get yourself a premeum :)
as for the pl question, i tried wowmine last year and they did a pretty good job, so generally i think they're trustworthy. my 2 cent :)

yes they are good got me from 24 to 40 in 2 days and great gold prices :)
Ive used em, 1-60 you tend to get left with little gold and crappy 40s gear but theyre quick and you can track the status on the site.
One time they went onto a 50 war of mine and took bags for the new char, then denied it, then said they did, then denied it, then said it wouldnt happen again. But it was only once, ive used em twice.
Good ppl.

Used them 3 times for PL & purchased plenty G from them. Had a problem once where they got my Paypal acct suspended (temporarily) & their online chat helpline can be very slow. With all 3 PL's they never updated the info of my toon as per their ad.
All said, they get the job done. PL is quite fast & gold delivery is also good. They also seem to be quite honest - leaving blue items that drop while they are PL'ing and not touching the G on the acct. They are doing a PL job for me atm and I will use them again in future.
Thumbs-up from me :)

Seems to me a simple answer is yes, they are good.
Thanks for letting us know your experience!
OK i was wrong big time,
Wow mine is the biggest scam site of them all......
I have got gold from them before without any troubles.
So I asked them to level my guy from 30-40 for me. The best thing with wow mine is that they update all your info, ie gold, current level, gear etc etc.
At level 39 I had 101 gold in my bags.
When i logged back on after completion, i only had 31. At level 30 i had 27G.
I asked them and they admitted that they took the gold and said they would send it back to me in the mail. ( I have the conversation if anybody wants it)
Today i logged on and my account has been banned.
I warn everyone never to use wow mine for anything, simply they are thieves.

Aldiss, I've been using wowmine for almost one year for lvling & plenty of G buying and always received good service from them, but thanks for this warning.
Could you please confirm that you did not do anything from your side (such as using glider or other 3rd party program) to get the account banned, i.e. it was purely due to either the lvling service or purchasing of G. I was thinking of using them to lvl another toon for me.

No, after leveling was completed, i did SM and then went to bed.
Next morning, banned...

Ok my 2 cents is i have used them to level multiple characters and boiught wel over 20k gold from them and never had a problem. As far as the getting banned after leveling thats always a risk thats why i wait atleast 24hrs after eveling is complete to log on so the wow monitoring programs don't notice 2 different ip address's on the acount back to back. But thats just my experience.

Also i wanted to know if you loged in at all while leveling was going on.
Well I can say IMHO I think they are a 50/50 bunch. I have had good business with them in the past but when it came to the leveling of a toon it was very bad and after that experience I will not do business with them or their associates.
I ordered the PL service on a new wow w/bc account and let them run with it, after 3 weeks I got an email from them letting me know the account had been banned, about 10 minutes later I got the offical email from Blizz that it had been banned. I contacted wowmine and they gave me the steps to try and retrieve the account. I followed the steps and didnt get it back, I then started calling WOW support repeatedly and emailing them and I finally got a response and after agreeing to not do it again they informed me the account would be watched and would be deleted if it happened again.
After thinking about the investment so far with the game + bc I decided it wasnt worth getting that deleted.
The toon was at lvl39 with like 100 gold on it and crap 30 gear so, none of the skills were completed or even close.
I asked for maybe some ingame gold since it was suppose to have a mount and some extra change on it and the skills were not done.
I understand things happen, after like 6 emails to various people at wowmine I still have never gotten a reponse. If I go to their "live" chat which seems to be a scripted response setup all I get is the steps to retrieve my account.
So, to sum it up.
If you think that say 280.00 dollars is worth the risk then they have a website (which anyone with 9.95 a month can have) where you can give it to them.
They do not seem to use good business practice and do not seem to be concerned with customers.
I would say stay away and to not support bad business.
Also i wanted to know if you loged in at all while leveling was going on.
Nah mate I am not a fool, I did nothing wrong. The email blizzard sent me referred to "exploiting the wow economy" What I think happened, is when they took the gold from my account they must have sent it to the account that they use to send there gold out from, our passed gold out via my toon. That’s what I reckon; I don’t have anything to back it up though.
What really pissed me off is my 4 other high level charters on that account are gone now. I know it is a risk you take, but what pissed me off is that I believe it could have been avoided if they were not shifting gold through my account.

Dealt with Wowmine for many months, never ever had a problem. Had PL service, they did exactly what they said they would. 1-60 in 12 days i think it was, and it was done in 11, with mount and hell I even had an epic in the bank (Hammer of the Northern Wind....still it got me an extra 80g on top of the 100g I had). Logged on a few times during the service to have a look at my gear but no problems at all.
End of the day, people have a sharp eye for bots these days. But as far as I know wowmine have actual people that do the power levelling. But maybe at times because of demands they may use a bot for a couple of hours. And it's not like they can go to a magical island to grind where nobody can find them. It only takes one with a sharp eye to notice that it's a bot. (ie hunters in deadwind pass!). Might think nothing of it then again, but comes back 20 minutes later and the bot is still there, so he follows it around blatently and if anybody was there they would whisper the guy as anyone would do if someone was following them.
"Hey I know, i'll turn on Fraps!"
Which he could do with a push of a key. And bam, there is your name and there is video proof that it's a bot. People do this, people take pleasure in reporting people for any reason they can musture. People like ganking because in there mind it pisses the other guy off, and to some people gettng someones account banned for violating the terms is a huge thrill. They know this guy has probably spent $300 on it...
And no matter if they do it in 7 days or 14 days, 1-60, 60-70, 1-70....it's a long way to go without getting caught and more and more people are begining to play WoW every day. So thinking about it, the chances of getting caught now is higher.
Theres no expansion plan in serious production or design yet, just patches and updates etc etc. Compared to working on the Burning Crusade they have more flexable time and could start spending more cramping down on bots and gold farmers and we know they have a seperate department for this.

I've bought gold and powerlevelling from wowmine before and never had a problem. I once had to wait a few days due to a gold shortage, but got an additional 10% for waiting. As for their Messenger service, when im talking to them i always talk with Toby. (needless to say i dont know if im really talking to the same person!) He's always been kind and helpfull.
they are getting really good about catching multiple ip addresses. i've powerleveled from 20 to 40 alot but if you ever do a 10 to 20 play yourself from 20 to 30 and then do a 30 to 40 powerlevel they catch that shit in a heartbeat. what i would suggest is just starting a fresh account and letting them powerlevel it. after thats done hop on and all the account has ever seen is 2 ip addresses which is seems to tolerate a little better.

I have to concur, Blizzard is getting smarter and better all the time and remember that they pay people to hunt down exploiters, explorers, gold buyers and goldsellers.
Personally i will never discuss any exploits, exploring tips or gold related issues in whispers, guild chat or any other chat other than Teamspeak or MSN.

Yes, if Blizzard sees IPs from your location to china switching rapidly, they'll know something is up, unless you live in china as well. One tactic is to wait a week or two after you last log into the account to order the powerlevel, and wait a week or two after it is finished before logging in again. Of course, if Blizzard already knows said powerlevelers IPs, your account will be banned anyway.

I'm having a toon lvld at the moment 1-70 by them. It is easy for me to check the progress of the toon because I have two accounts. They have done lvling for me before when I only had one acct and that went according to their schedule.
The lvling started 3 days back and the toon is now on lvl 31, so I wanted to check if they used a bot. Whisper got no reply (which is good) so I used one of my high lvl chars on the same server to find the toon (which was quite a mission!). My high lvl is a priest so I gave the toon some buffs and he said TY, so that was proof that he was not botting. I subsequently found him in two other locations, just monitoring, and it is definitely not a bot (I had 2 accts banned due to botting so know what to look for....)
My 2cents, it is getting really dangerous, unless you dont mind your acct being banned, to bot nowadays. The 2 accts Im running atm has not had any bot, in fact I deleted it from my PCs. PL service is probably the way to go but you have to trust the co. you deal with. After many deals with wowmine Im still ok with them, and will update this thread about the current PL once it is done. I will not log into the account or do anything stupid to risk it from my side, and wait at least 24 hrs before logging in after the PL is complete.
Watch this space for an update.

Ok - It has been 8 days since they started the toon. It is now on lvl 51 and going strong. Since the last report 5 days back, I managed to locate it 3 times. On all occasions I buffed it and it buffed me back and said TY, so still no apparent botting activity.
The gear also does not look too shabby - they last updated the web info when it was on lvl49 and there are a couple of blue items. Professions have been lvl'd:
Enchanting - 226/235
Tailoring - 257/300
First Aid - 248/300
It only had 25G but obviously had to purchase the mount on lvl40. Bank content information was not updated.
I'll give another update in a couple of days.
Aldiss, thats really bad luck mate. It would be interesting to know exactly what happened there. You mentioned that the first acct was banned from what you believe was gold selling/buying, and now this one maybe from using a bot? These are two completely different things and for wowmine to screw up so badly is hard to believe. Have you had anything back from them since?
Faimotura
04-16-2007, 06:34
thank you for the update in the end please let us know the end result and your overall satisfaction with it.
I've tried WoWmine a few times. I've had quite a few accounts banned while they were leveling.
I never logged in while they were leveling or anything, but alas they were banned. On the first acct I had them lvl that reached 60, it got banned after I waited 3-4 days before logging onto it. For that account, they kept saying " go ahead and buy a new accoutn and we will repay you for it" which never happened. They ended up giving me 2 accts , which both were banned after reaching 20-30 range. And then the one I bought which ended up reaching 60, and then banned.
Now, after reading what Vatikaki has been posting, I decided I'd try once again, maybe they changed or something. But... this account now has just been banned after they reached lvl 28 with the character. I'm almost 100% sure that blizzard will not give me access back to the account no matter how many times I emailed them during my previous run in with bannings have they returned any of my accounts.
Just my story.

Well, I have one account that I keep and maintain myself, it has my 70 and my other 60 on there. But the other accounts I had were just to play other classes to see what they were like. So I still play, it's just I lost my other account is all. Trying to work out the solution with wowmine atm.

l2andom I'm really sorry to hear about your streak of bad luck. We should use this forum to try & find some pattern of behaviour to help people not to have their accounts banned. Have you perhaps used the same email address or credit card number on some of these banned accounts? This info might be helpful.
I can tell you for a fact that my 2 accts were banned due to botting (glider). Glider is a nice tool but you have to be careful when using it & according to the glider forums people had accounts banned even though they were never afk (though I find that hard to believe). I was just being careless but decided to stop using glider and use PL service instead. This is the 4th time I use wowmine for levelling (60-65 x 2, 65-70, and now 1-70) and no problems to date.
My toon is on lvl63 now and I have still not sensed any botting activity. If I lose that account I will be thoroughly pissed 'cause it has a couple of lvl 60's on it as well. Though I have purchased gold for some of the toons on the account, it was never glided & its on a different email address & credit card than my banned accounts (that were both on the same email & credit card).
Just some words of advice - I would not state my server or toon names on this forum. Blizz is guaranteed to have some employees just reading forums all day long and you might just post yourself out of an account....

Well, the 1-70 PL on my toon completed yesterday. I waited about 24 hours from receiving the notification from wowmine and logged in. The total time was 19 days which is quite good for 1-70 (but it is a Mage and they do lvl fast). /played was 15 days 14 hrs.
The gear on the toon was average, mostly green stuff with a couple of blue items. It has a lvl60 epic mount but no flying mount, HOWEVER, it has almost 1600G!
They lvld enchanting & tailoring to 300 (which is what they promise on the site) and fist aid to 375.
Bags were full of enchating dusts and shards, worth about 180G total at avg. AH prices. In the bank there was a couple more surprises. A rare pattern (epic) and 5 blue items, total value on avg. AH prices around 500G.
Though I am really sorry to hear about people having lost their accounts using wowmine for PL, I have to confirm my previous comments about their abilities, and will definitely use them again.
BTW, my last 2 orders of 2000G each from wowmine was delivered within 10 minutes each. They don't call me any longer as I have been a client with them for quite some time.

My exp is that if you want someone to PL your Char, you have to check the status with them once a day.
Just got an email from blizz. It said that my account was using third party programs. Well, I was having wowmine lvl for me, so I'm guessing they were using third party programs. Wowmines response was that their guys sometimes play like bots?? I dont know. Just some input

yep, if you stay in the same spot for grinding too long. Others would suspect you. Although I think that "Third party program" is the thing they use to upload your char's status

And what was the outcome of the email? Did you get a warning/suspension or ban? 3rd party programs almost always refer to bots and in my entire 1-70 with wowmine I visited the char about 10 times or so, each time giving a buff or waving, and he responded with a buff back or hello or something (indicating no botting). If someone saw the guy grinding and did not try to communicate with him, there is no way of telling if it was a bot or not.
Please give more info (attach the mail from blizz if possible)

It sounds as though some people have been lucky. I purchased a 1-60 pl order, and at level 9 my account was banned. After emailing blizz several times, I got a response from an admin supervisor saying they would not reinstate my account. All interaction between blizz and I were forwarded to wowmine. After that final email, I asked wowmine for a refund of the unleveled portion (not unreasonable). They continued to tell me to email blizz, and skirted around the refund. After continued hounding, they finally agreed to pay for a new CDkey in order to fulfill the leveling order. They have yet to restart leveling on the new account. I will give an update IF it is ever done. My recommendation is to skip the hassle; in the time I've spent dealing with wowmine, I've levelled a character to 52. So far I've spent $248 for nothing, not to mention lost an account and the money I've put into it. It's just not worth it.
EDIT: Didn't notice the 4 additional pages, lol. The account was banned for 3rd party programs. I logged on to create the character, and never logged on again. Maybe there's something to the idea that their order updating software is the culprit...

This sounds really crazy. At lvl9 there is really no point in using a bot yet so it must have been something else. The way wowmine shows the status of the char is by link from their site to the blizz foundry. Maybe that is it? (In which case one should probably not use the link, but go directly to the foundry & search for the toon there).
I've had some good dealings with them so hope that they will come to the party to provide you another acct & toon to 60. It may be a good idea not to use the link from the wowmine site to check the status.

The link to the wow site is fairly new. They used to have a link directly to their site. It would show everything in your bag, bank, and the stuff that is now on the wow site.
EDIT: On second thought, I don't think they updated your bank contents, just your bags, and character info.

I've used wowspa.com fore quite some time now, and I'm generally satisfied...
I think that wowmine and wowspa are "sisters"... Because I was redirected to the wowmine page when I PL the first time...
I've done a few small PL purchases (35-40 for example), and bought gold a couple of times...
I phurchased 1000 gold from them yesterday, and I was told there was something wrong with my order, so I got concerned because of all the negative comments about them (wowmine) here... Turns out that they didn't want to send the gold because I had migrated from another realm a couple of days ago, and that my previous records said that I was on another server... So I chatted with them on their live chat, and I got my gold in a couple of minutes...
I also bought 200 g from ign.com, and was told that it was "out of stock" atm, and that i had to wait...
Generally I'm really pleased with wowmine/wowspa... I haven't had any problems with them... Although I admit that I get concerned since they get so much negative feedback... But I'm really happy with them... ;-)

I have a feeling that the crackdown that Blizzard is applying is really hurting the gold selling sites. I recently ordered 1000 gold from wowmine but after 6 days, they only delivered 250 gold which is pretty disappointing because usually wowmine delivers gold in less then three days. I seriously hope they speed up their delivery time because theres no way im going to wait for them to take one month to complete my order.

UPDATE: Wowmine made good on purchasing a new account for me, and the new character is now at 52... the home stretch. I was considering transferring the character to a different account when they're done, that way they don't see two IP's on one account. Does anyone think that's a bad idea? Thanks in advance.

Shocker, if you just wait a day or two (the longer the better) before logging in after the PL is over, you will be fine. Blizz only picks up varying IP's when it happens constantly and varies on the same day (i.e. you did not go on vacation...). I've had a couple of PL's done and no problems to date by just waiting a couple of days.
You also need to lie low for the first couple of days (i.e. don't report any other player or make it too obvious that you are a new lvl60 or 70) because your /played can also be seen by blizz. My mage had /played 15 days or something when I got it back at lvl70 - dead giveaway.
BTW, good to hear that you got a new acct.
I've purchased gold from WowMine many times in the past and never had any troubles. Delivery was quick and I've always received my full helping of gold on time, even when the website said there could be major delays because of shortages.
I did purchase power leveling from them once. I created a brand new account, logged in to create the character I wanted power leveled (to later transfer to my real account) and found that the account was banned within just a couple of days by Blizzard. The email I received stated that they noticed a number of foreign IP addresses connecting to my account and banned it for "sharing account access". This was absolutely due to WowMine's error as I touched the account once... only to create the account and the character to power level.
Prior to ordering power leveling through WowMine, I did chat with their support to ask about how they connected to the WoW servers. I was told that they tunneled their connection through US-based IP addresses to prevent detection by Blizzard as they were aware that using foreign IP addresses would wind up getting accounts banned. This was obviously not the case.
I asked for a refund after this happened and was told that I could either receive that or gold and some extra for my troubles. I opted for the refund. It did take quite a while and quite a few additional support chats to receive the refund, but I did receive it in the end. Took about a week to get it, however. They did offer to purchase a new CD key for me, but I was pretty upset over the whole experience, especially after being specifically told that they took measures to prevent accounts from getting banned for the reason that mine was banned.
Overall I'm pretty happy with them and continue to order gold solely from WowMine. I really just don't trust any other gold providers, especially the ones that are constantly spamming in-game.
I can highly recommend them for gold purchases. They have the best prices around and will offer discounts based on the frequency that you purchase gold. I can not, however, recommend them for power leveling as my experience was far from pleasurable.

Satevia,
Thanks for this comprehensive info m8. Most PL companies use multiple players to PL your toon and it seems like wowmine used people from various locations. Really dumb on their part imo.
Could you please confirm if you are on US or EU servers. The PL's that wowmine has done for me was all on EU (thank goodness with no problems).
I agree with the gold bit. They do seem to be pretty jacked up with that (my last couple of orders were delivered in less than 10 mins).
Vatikaki,
I play on US-based servers. I've never heard of a difference in how it would work on different countries servers, but I would guess that non-US servers could be a sort of red-headed-stepchild... no offense, of course. :)
I'm tempted to try the service again in the future, knowing that I'll at least be able to get a refund if things go wrong. It may take a bit of work, but not as much work as getting a toon from 1-70.

Satevia,
Thx for that. It seems like the GM's on the US servers are much more 'aggro' than the ones on EU. If you read some of the threads, you will find a couple of members who mentioned gold taken from their mailboxes before they had time to collect it (some even mentioning times as short as 10 minutes).
One of my gold suppliers (4mmo.com) actually does a player-trade delivery on US servers, but on EU they deliver to mailbox. There is a definite message there...
I had a feeling that the IP problem is also bigger in the US. This makes sense as the US GM's would expect the vast majority of their players to be local, whereas the EU servers generally have players from all over the world, making it harder for them to detect varying IP's.
That said, the 2 accounts I had banned was both on EU but that was my own stupidity (using bots...).

UPDATE: Wowmine made good on purchasing a new account for me, and the new character is now at 52... the home stretch. I was considering transferring the character to a different account when they're done, that way they don't see two IP's on one account. Does anyone think that's a bad idea? Thanks in advance.
Whoops, posted too soon. As of today (6/3/07), my account has been banned for exploiting the WoW economy. Got it to 57... so close. It seems that the smaller pl's are working out much better, but 1-60 or 1-70 just doesn't seem to work with them. I think it's time to finally get my refund. Thanks for reading, everyone.

Damn! Sorry to hear that didn't work out for you, either. I think power leveling is a bit dangerous these days. I've successfully had characters power leveled to around 40 before and found this to be a non-issue. It really takes them a matter of a couple of days or so, and likely doesn't raise any flags because of it.
Also, did they ever update the web interface for you? They did only once or twice for me, despite promises of the leveler "updating soon" when requesting updates through live chat.
It seems like gold is their expertise, though I've heard that's getting just as dangerous to purchase these days.
I don't know if anyone knows this but I certainly do.
If you ordered powerleveling services and continued to play your account right away after your order is done, there is a notice to Blizzards system that IP changes are traced and they detect whether it's a shared computer or just two different computers with two different IPs.
The safest way to save your account from being banned is to wait at least 1 week after your PL order is done so that your account is idle for one week unused because the admins at Blizzard won't ban you after one week unused account when Blizzard detects you've been grinding 24/7 or 12/7 or however your PL Company offers you their services that week past.
Even if they did by lookin at your IP changes, you can fight the fact that you were on a different PC with a different IP in a different country for a vacation trip or internet cafe. But you CANNOT STATE THAT YOU WERE IN EUROPE 5-10 HOURS TRIP Because they sure damn don't give a fuck how long your flight was...I suggest a week wait because it's safer and reliable. I've used this once and it worked for me, I got my account back after a permanent ban (due to the fact my PL company was EUROPEAN AND I was in another country in Europe I thought hey why not, lets charge my credit card!) Althought at first I didn't notice how Blizzard watches IPs that are different from account playing times and days and Blizzard will ban you without regards to IP Changes because IP changes on one account are bad for us because they suspect it was either a powerleveling service or you were just sharing the account with a european friend. Sorry for my bad english I said because waaaay too many times lol. :P
Okay soo.....They decided the ban was too harsh without reason after I emailed them and called them, and as I gave them that reason above, they came to the conclusion that it is possible. I really shouldn't have said this but it's highly out of my heart for the WoW gamers and lovers all around the world to enjoy the heart of this game, LONG LIVE WOW AND MMOMAVEN!
NOW WHERES MY FREE MOUSEPAD xD
For the US - Make sure you find a US company that gives u good powerleveling services and I suggest you check here before you buy a PL service. It's always safer to check than be a joke to yourself.

I know this is an old thread, but I had to get this frustration off my chest. I selected wowmine for a gold purchase because of a friend's recommendation. I placed a 1000 gold order. Three days later I received half. I was okay with that. But five days after that (8 days after the order was placed) I still hadn't received the second half.
I contacted wowmine and they apologized, I was okay with that too. They asked me to be patient. I waited another three days. No more patience. I contacted them again and they apologized and offered Power Leveling in place of the order. I never used PL but I was aware of the risks.
I created a new character, not in my name, unrelated to any accounts I play regularly...just in case. I received an account suspension email from Blizzard two days into PL service. I contacted wowmine and they offered to give me 300 gold (it was 500 but they provided SOME PL service so now it was 300 gold).
That was in March. It's now May and I'm still waiting. I have tons of emails, chat logs, and PayPal dispute attempts to prove this. PayPal recommended that I "work it out" with wowmine, but it's not going anywhere.
Some like wowmine. I think they suck.

Sounds to me like it's time to dispute the sale with paypal and get your money back m8.
Recently i have had a friend buy 10000g from wowmine, he had it in 10 days... (was delivered in batches) eventough the site said they hade over 35000g in store. Now lets get this straight, I DO NOT ENDORSE WOWMINE.... Just for the record since some idiot might think i do and come bash me over the head with it 2 years later. All im saying is theres good and bad reviews on wow mine, mine has been pleasant up till now, but that could change any day.

Hey, Howa are ya? I just started wow about 3 months ago, playing a couple of hours a week. I now have a level 65 Rogue. I have a few other level 60s as welll. I have some free time over the next few weeks. If you want, I can level your toon from 1-40 in 72 hours, or less. I would only charge you $75 Or, I can level your toon to 70 with epic gear, that will take 2 weeks. Both characters will have 200G and 1000G respectively. Email me at mikexaos27@yahoo.com if you want to do it. I'm not trying to make any money, just I am very good at the game, I know it in and out, and I know I can do it easily. I have paypal too, so I'm legit - I use it for my web design business. Good Luck either way.
