Warlock help?

hello Im a level 16 warlock new to the game just been playing 4 days. I seen this video clip showing that you can do something with a Rune or something and not take any damage and keep it on indef. I dont see that any where

is there a good way to get up in levels from 16 + warlock Alliance side

Westfall then Redridge Mountains (Lakshire), then Darkshire. By then you should be 25. After that i dont know because my ally is only 25 =(
