Netlimiter (http://www.netlimiter.com/) is a powerful bandwidth monitoring and adjusting tool. You can download a trial version of it HERE (http://www.soft32.com/download_25240.html). The function it has that is useful for WoW is turning off all bandwidth to the game. That lets you act like the game is disconnected, enabling a lot of fun tricks.

More mobs will not spawn for you when bandwidth is turned off. You can run through a zone without monsters, then turn the bandwidth back on to get anywhere you want in the zone quickly. Mobs will spawn but you will stay in the location you got to without bandwidth. You can also run through instance portals without being teleported, letting you explore what is on the other side, or ride your mount indoors. You will not be kicked off your mount when bandwidth is turned off.

Try out the tool, there are lots of fun things you can do by adjusting your bandwidth to create more lag. There might even be some new exploits, go find out.

Another, free program that can limit the bandwidth to WoW is DUSuperControler. It is much more crude and simple, but the file is clean and it will do the same job.
