1) Find a where a vendor spawns.
2) Buy the item you want.
3) Go to war with him.
4) Kill them.
5) They will respawn.
6) You can rebuy the item.
7) You will loose rep but it's still helpfull.

Depending on the level of the vendor, make a char and level him up just enough to do it? I know a lot of people have alts in their thirties and forties they stopped playing. So use one of them.
Buy the item, then log out your main next to the vendor. Swap over, kill the vendor, log back in with your main, and buy the item again. Repeat.
That way your main doesn't lose rep.
