My fave class has to be paladin, ok although we do not have aoe heals (until wotlk) we still have very solid solo target healing which keeps those cardboard tanks alive ;) Also retribution and prot are also very good stand alone talents, go for a nice strong aoe tank or a reasonable dps spec ... how can a paladin go to fault? :D

Depends on the functions of the class.

For a pure DPS class, I thoroughly enjoy warlocks in all their glory and OPness.

For healing, I enjoy shamans because of their survivability. With the new talents with the upcoming patch and wotlk, spirit link will be amazing. Just imagine a 2's team - warrior + shamy. Damage will be mitigated among the 2 making that team close to unbeatable!

I'm probley going to get laughed at about this post, but a rouge is my favorutie class. It's the first class i picked to start me out in the game and since i started i love playing on my sneaky rouge, Sappin and crackin skulls. The only downfall is the leather and lower hp but the hits are amazaing with the right gear. In WOTLK i think im going to stick with my rouge but who knows the death knight seems like an amzaing class to try! Cheers

Hard to pick a favorite i am split between the mage, and the rogue. I think i am going with the rogue High DPS and I love melee much much more then range for the simple fact that being up close to a boss means more danger, and with Wrath until i play the deathknight i can't say it is my favorite even tho everything i have read has really sounded amazing and sounds like it maybe a new favorite, but after hearing the rogues spell at level 75 i am loving the idea of it sounds awesome, and murder spree or killing spree forget what they call it now sounds amazing!

my favorite class is the paladin for all the specs. my favorite one is protection because its really fun and easy to tank.

My personal favorite class is of course, the shaman. Shamans can do massive DPS in casting form and melee form. Shamans can also do really good healing if needed while wearing mail, so they wont die as easy if they take agro. my fav. spec is enhance because it deals amazing dps with ease :D, and when your leet you just look pimp.

I'll have to say that my favorite class is the Mage.
I like the class alot for the challenge that it gives me towards different classes.
For example, rogues.

To beat a rogue as a mage, you would need some very nice timing skills, and ways to not let yourself get stun-locked by them.
Usually, the Frost Elemental is your best friend in fights versus Rogues. So is Ice Block.

You would usually need a Medallion or Insignia of the Horde on fights versus rogues, to get away from blind.

Mage versus Paladin duels are also very fun, since you have to watch out if the paladin is retribution.
These duels are alot harder if you're not frost or frost/arcane.
Reason being because fire doesn't have Ice Barrier, which is a GREAT spell do absorb some of the tremendous damage that Paladins can do in a short amount of time.

Although, even if you are frost, the Blessing of Freedom paladins can do is very troublesome. It's strongly recommended to SpellSteal as SOON as you see that blessing on the paladin. Trinket out of Repentance, and Blink out of Hammer of Justice.


That's just some of the reasons I like being a mage the best.

Edit: With the new talents implemented in Wrath of the Lich King, one of the really great ones is "Shattered Barrier". That will greatly help mages flee from hard opponents. Brain Freeze Is a GREAT way to do some INCREDIBLE burst damage on a target. Imagine casting a frostbolt and then being able to cast an instant cast fireball that doesn't cost mana. That's sort of like a giant Ice Lance, am I right? Imagine one of those while you have 1500+ spell damage?
I can't wait.

My favorite classes in most all MMO's have always been the healers. I love being in control of the fight and being the healer gives me that control. I have a 70 priest druid paladin and shaman in wow, and I have to say that I enjoy all of the classes healing ability. Currently, I am playing my druid as balance spec in raids and I have to say that now, druids are my favorite class in wow (and balance tree looks like it is getting some major buffs in wotlk).

Definately a warlock! They arent overpowered, the ones that can't kill us are just nubs that don't know how to play their class, or a rogue which takes no skilll at all to stun lock. haha. Love the 8k+ shadow bolts when destruction, and the dot dot fear when affliction. Can't WAIT to try the new talents in WotLK!!

A personal favorite class of mine is a rouge. Due to the fact they are good dps and have the part of dealing the damage without having to worry to much of the damage. As for the WOFLK I'm really looking forward to having another class to try out and have a whole lot of new content to try out the BC opened up a whole new set of experience for me and added many hours to the game and WOFLK I'm sure will do the same. :D Who knows maybe the new death Knight will be my new favorite for DPS and tanking. Along with the fact of having new Rune weapons and customization options.. :cool:

I have 6 level 70 toons, and I love playing them all. After reading numerous threads on the DK class, I think when WotLK comes out, I will want to start one. It will have the best of many classes, including the fact that you will be able to raise minions to assist you, similar to a hunter. you can tank, dps, range dps, and have a pet LOL. This, by far, seems to be the new up and coming class for WoW.

Hey, my favourite class is the paladin, but im probably lightyears better playing a warrior. I've raided two paladins to BWL pre-tbc, then leveled a new pally to 65, then leveled one of the pre-tbc ones to 70, which is the character i'm currently playing.

I'd like a key so i can play with one of my mates in class who recently transferred his sunwell-tier6 paladin to the wotlk beta, it'd be awesome to play with him.

My favorite class has to be the upcoming Death Knight, due to the fact its a new class and it brings a unique way of playing tha class, and that i combines both aspects of Warrior, Rogue and Paladin into one class in some shape or form. They seem nice to play from the videos that ive seen and particulaly like the spell and ability effects, Death Knight should give the game a fresh twist in PvP and PvE.

My favorite class is the shaman -- my guild's entering the sunwell now so he's pretty well geared (also have a mage, my previous main, which is similarly geared), and he's just a ton of fun to play. He's specced resto for raids, where Chain Heal blows the other healers out of the water *-*, but I leveled enhancement and had a great time doing it. In WotLK I'll probably be leveling my shaman and a DK up to 80 -- I'm looking forward to all the changes.

Sadly, I don't have one particular favorite class. Between Paladins, Warlock, Shamans, and Priests I'm pretty much bombarded with the enjoyment of them all. Paladins have nice versatility, and the ever-annoying bubble hearth ability. Warlocks are amazing in their ability to solo a never-ending stream of mobs and still maintain full health and mana. Shamans are in such high demand for their amazing group abilities (yay totems). And finally, Priests... in my opinion still the best healers out there, and able to put out some incredibly respectable damage.

My favorite class is the Hunter? Why? They are the fastest to level (Warlock being 2nd place). And, if I ever want a lv375 profession I do not already have. I just make a hunter, level to 70, up the professions, and I am set :)

My 2nd favorite is Priest. Every group needs a priest over a holy pally due to Priests have better mana management and can heal/protect more then a pally ;)

I love playing all the classes, they each have their own special tallents tehy bring to the table. The Hunter is by far the coolest to play, you can change your pet anytime you want by taming a new pet, and no matter where you go people always need DPS.

Besides achievements, a built-in threat meter, guild calendars, the inscription profession, all new content, mounts, and the death knight?
Let's be real: What is there not to be excited about in the new expansion?

However, if I had to narrow down one specific thing that really is forcing me to continue playing World of Warcraft, it is the lore.
Arthas, Dalaran, Queen Sylvanas, Naxxramas (due to its huge importance to WoW history), being able to walk in Stratholme where Arthas finally took the fatal decision his own quest was more important than the fate of the city, the entire WoW history has built to this expansion pack.

Starting from Prince Arthas slaying of King Terenas Menethil II (his father, King of Lordaeron), to his defeating of Illidan, and culminating to him obtaining the Frostmourne and merging with Ner’zhul.

This expansion will be the largest milestone in World of Warcraft since release.

My favorite and first class since the first WoW came out is definetly the mage! I have 7 70's of which i have a pally warrior druid mage rogue priest and shaman.I have done raids and pvp with all of my characters but I have raided MC as frost mage mainly and Nax and onyx as arcane fire mage and doing such massive dps comparatively is amazing! And even today in BC i switch between frost and arcane fire for fun. Of course frost is for the simple raids like kara gruul mag and then arcane fire for SSC TK BT and MH which are all quite simple still ;) And then what is cooler then being able to blow yourself up in WoTLK? I will definetly spec fire just so i can experience that because its cool as hell =) And all these reasons combined makes mages my favorite class through 60 70 and what will be 80 very soon =D

I love my priest. Priests are easily the most versatile healers in the game, with greater heal, prayer of mending, renew, and Prayer of Healing, they really have the best of all worlds. Sure we're the squishiest healing class, but does any other healing class have aggro control? Absolutely not. Not only can we priests heal, but we can be one of the most sought-after dps classes as the shadow priest. Shadow priests combine dps, respectable off healing, and Crowd Control all in one spec. Finally, I can become the living punching bag in PvP. As many of you have found out, decently geared Discipline Priests are one of the hardest specs to kill thanks to their combination of power word shield, power infusion, and pain suppression.

Hunter is the only way to go for me. I know it's an easy class, but dang are they fun! I just love having a pet right next to me - people say quests are so hard lots of times, but then i tank with my pet and snipe away. Honestly, I can't think of a better way to go :) At first, I thought rogues (my main) were the best because of their cloaking abilities, but then I noticed how awesome hunters are :D

I love enhancement shamans the brute force of a Windfury twohander crit and in the WotLK there giving us Wolves to fight beside us.. just running in with two wolves under your control with extremely high normal damage then hitting with windfury its almost like shamans have hit godlike proportions its beautiful T_T

My favorite class is the Paladin...being prot it is really nice being able to tank multiple targets at the same time. I find the Paladin is an overall awesome class, from tanking to healing, and of course the ret tree :P. I enjoy my priest immensely. Nothing like being one of the most flexible healers in the game. MT, raid patching, 5-mans. Can do it all. Pvp isn't too shabby either, although to be honest, druids do quite well for themselves as far as pvp healing goes.

My favourite class would have to be a Druid, especially resto. Arguably one of the most diverse healing class out there, with more instant healz then you can count, and the best healing class at doing "advance healing".

And in Wotlk, probably Druid again...Flourish, the amazing AoE Hot....will be the new master healing move...Chain heal will no longer be unrivaled! muhahahaha :D

My favourite class of all time has to be the Warlock, class of Shadows, race Gnome.

The Warlock is my favourite because the survivability factor is great whilst being able to melt your foes, shadowbolt in hand.

A Warlock controls the Shadows using them at will, striking fear into the eyes of the weak! with no fear remorse the Gnome Warlock whilst small in size but possessing great power can defeat any other class, if played correctly, it takes skill and timing, interrupting spells at important times, using the spells to the best ability.

Honestly, no one really likes paladins. They always whine about how long it takes to do anything. Reroll a priest for these reasons, 4 different specs specifically for different purposes. Lets list them off shall we, Discipline(pvp) spec, great for pvp obviously and makes an alright healer. Holy, great for raids and groups, gets the healing done right! Shadow, get your dps on, mana battery it up, yo! And my personal favorite, Smite Spec! holy fire and smite spamming with the option to heal gives the fastest and easiest farming methods that i have found. But thats my basis for what is the best class!

My favorite class is the PALADIN.
We rule, we can tank, heal and still be fashion at the same time! Yes! That's true, we have all that pink armor, when someone looks at us they just say "omg! another f@#!".
But here is the truth, everyone envy the paladins, they wish they could be like a paladin, having outstanding epic battles with hours of duration, NEVER DIE, but never kill, it's a little price you have to pay for being immortal!
In WotLK we will only be more immortal then before, with +10 levels of extreme immortaliness. Also Athene is a paladin (the best wow player ever), the paladins could do the 1day 1-70 powerlevel and farm many instances alone like: Dune Maul and Straholme (until you get the skeletal horse drop!)

My favorite wow class would have to be Druid. The ability to be an awesome d.p.s.er, spellcaster, tank, or healer is amazing.

With each talent trees specific party "aura" they not only increase various stats for themselves, but make others more "bad ass" as well. The ability to change your mind and not HAVE TO level up another character is a novelty and a time saver. In these days of The Burning Crusade, making money is fast and easy, so if you really like to change your mind you have feasible options readily available. Somedays I just can't make up my mind.

Currently I have my level 70 Tauren Druid specced kitty dps. *RWAR* After being specced resto from level ten and on up the dps is a fresh and rewarding idea. Sneaking up behind someone, pouncing on them and just tearing them to shreds before they can even do something about it to stop you is GREAT!

When I am in tree form I love that in a duel I can beat my opponent by staying alive forever b*tch slapping them and just hotting it up. And I have to say being able to boogie woogie in tree form is awesome. I mean seriously doing the twist?, they should have come up with that idea earlier. =P

My earth friendly clothing made out of animal skins, and leaves is very good in these times of oil prices going up. Being a druid is just good for the environment. =D And wearing antlers is very stylish. Who else could pull off this dairing look?

The "Boomkin" is a force to be reckoned with. If you are not afraid of the huge bird they will just stick these nastly little trees on you entangle you up in the roots of the earth and send stars falling out of the sky. Look up, wow such a pretty sight. All others should be so lucky to see such a pretty sight before they die.

Druids are by far my favorite class, and being a stay at home mommy I have had plenty of time to create, delete, and recreate characters. There are some classes I just can not seem to level up, they seem "boring", to me a Druid has it all. Master of disguise and Master of the classes.

My fav class has and will always be shaman :) Being able to do heal, ranged DPS or melee DPS is awesome, it's like having 3 classes in one! Just switch your spec if you feel like doing something else. Also we bring awesome buffs to the raid that makes everyone else stronger. WotLK will buff all three specs a lot and we get plenty of cool new spells like Thunder which will be very fun in PvP! Knocking people off the AV bridge will be awesome :D

My favorite class is the Druid. Druids are perhaps the best class at two of the three different types.. tanking and healing. Druids have HoT ability with Lifebloom at the front. Druid healers can keep a tank up and can toss in an insta0heal with little effort if needed. Our Feral-tanks hold agro like no other and can heal themselves if need be. Not to mention the midigation is amazing. If you want a glass that gives you options and is extremely fun, try the druid.

For me, the warrior has become my favorite class. Since 2005 I have been grinding it out. When WotLK finally arrives the question will become whether to stay prot or to go Fury. The changes, so far, have been a long time coming and might actually spark more interest in a class since the release of BC.

MS/Fury/Prot ... all will be interesting. Let's just hope that the Nerf bat does not strike too quickly!

Many people are hunters, but not many people are skilled hunters.
Being a hunter consists of more than just telling your pet to attack, then clicking auto-shot. It takes expectation of the unexpected.

Hunters need to be one with their pets, and they need to be able to know exactly where to lay that trap, or exactly when to use feign death. Though the hunter is the easiest class to play, only few can play successfully.

It's this that makes the hunter my favorite class. Being a skillful hunter is being an elite. Being one of few.
