When Wrath of the Lich King comes out I am immediately going to buy it. I am going to go to a midnight release for it at Gamestop. After getting the expansion, I will probably play all night trying to level to 80 as fast as I can. I will also most likely call off work on the day it releases.

I'll be camping before anyone else is in front of the nearest store selling it. Which in my case would be Wal-Mart or Gamestop. As soon as it's in my hands I'll be playing it on my laptop on the way home (I'll make my friends drive so I can play.) and then immediately try to alternate between getting my highest character to 80 and getting a Death Knight to 80 as fast as possible. I may have to take a few "sick days" from college too, so I'll just do my homework for home..... Or pay one of my friends to do it for me so I can just play WoTLK... I'll probably be able to recruit more of my friends to start playing if they know the level cap is so high. So I'll be playing, recruiting my friends, and snacking on junk food as much as possible!

When Wrath of The lich king releases i will go and wait at the night release i think i even go in a costum, then i will run home insert Lich king disk then Press on install then upgrade account to lich king then i will go in and start a Death Knight then i will go and kill Kill Kill so i can level up, and learn about death knight more, and when i have reached outlands with it i will go On my main and send all belongins from my main to my Death knight all stuff, after i will drink alot of energy drinks so i can keep awak and play as long as possible :)

When WotLK comes out I'll be the 1st one to get it here in Cyprus, as a mate has his own Gaming shop, and they're usually the 1st to get hold of new games and being his closest friend I get priopity xD And as soon as I got that in my hands, it will b installed (grr for waitin on installation) and ill b playin it till i ding 80 with my hunter and of course ill start a DeathKnight, can't wait to try him out. In fact I can't wait for the expansion to try out all the new areas and dungeons and raids. So I dnt think anyone will b seein me for at least a week =S no college, no work, no friends....jst me and my guild leving to 80 so we can start raidin the new raids xD

1st Im gonna make a tauren DK to lvl after the plaguelands have been cleared, Then Ill go to Howling Fjord quest 1 lvl there then to borean tundra for a lvl then when I hit 80 ill start to lvl my DK

When the release date is announced, I'll likely set a paid time off vacation at my work for about a week starting the day before its released and ask my trusty professors at college to give me my assignments in advanced; stock up on hot pockets, tequila, cigarettes, bottled water -- the empty containers of which will likely become my piss jugs.

Then I'll pre-order it whilst looking for full version leaks on the internet.

From there, the only difficult things to choose between will be... "Should I get my main to 80 first? Or should I start a death knight and him/her up to 80?"

After the week is up, I'll clean up my now then painfully neglected computer area, take a shower, and take a day to recover before going back to work and school.

When WOTLK comes out, I plan on spending many hours leveling my druid. I am recovering from radial nerve damage, playing games seems to help improve my dexterity. I can't work due to my injury so I would do my best to out level the rest of my guild :p

and prob play all day/night

Well the day This exp releases I with my brother will be at a midnight opening to pick up copies of the game (collectors ed :cool:) Go home install(of course). And even though i have 5 70s just waiting to see 80 I will be one of those people who rolls a Deathknight as soon as i get into the game. Depending on that plays out will decide if he will get into northrend before my other 70s



As it is looking now the deathknight looks like a solid class with a different feel, and i hear the starting zone is the BEST questline in the game thus far so i really want to see that first off. So I can say I feel the deathknight i roll on release will be 80 before my other 70s

When the game is first release I will be leveling my main first up to 80, I prefer to have a 80 mage that i been playing for 4 years other then a death knight that i could lvl.. i have this small fear about the death knight well its not realy a fear just a class that will played way to much.. and since i been playing wow since it first came out i rather play the class i first started with :)

Jeez, so many things! First thing I'll do is scream for 37.7691 seconds exactly and then piss my pants. After everyone in my house yells for me to shut up and finishes beating me, I'll go out and purchase the game!!!:):D:):D

After the 6 hour wait in line, I'll buy the game, and laugh at all those people that are still waiting in line. I'll arrive home at 5am and wake up everyone by screaming, "ZOMG I GOTZ WRATH OF TEH LICH KINGZZZ!!!! IMMA PLAY IT NOW, K?" I'll then install the game and play none stop for 4 days, untill I go into a coma from lack of sleep.

I'll awaken 2 days later and slap the nurse in the face when she won't let me go home and play WoW. She had it coming. Then I will jump out of the hospital bed and run home, and play WoW and live happily ever after :) .

That is until the police will come and arrest me for running home naked from the hospital. Hey, the hospital gown was slowing me down! Well, maybe they'll have WoW in the slammer...

I have everything planned for when the expansion is released.

Me and four friends, will have bought sufficient supplies, coke, red bull, snacks, crisps, candy, FROZEN FOOD etc. to not have to leave the house for 9 days (which is our estimate to ding 80 and have maxxed professions and have got all the items we want from initial 5man instances).

We will pick up the game at midnight (we preordered a long time ago).
We will then start questing/lvling right away.
Our setup is: Warrior, Mage (me), Warlock, (shadow)Priest, (resto)Shaman, so we should be able to steamroll virtually everything with minimum downtime (mana tide, spriest mana etc).

So we naturally aim to be first 80´s on server and continue raiding as soon as the rest of the guild (in which we are officers/GM) catches up - and naturally help them in doing so.

Since I have been playing this game from before the original WoW came out. and I was already in line when BC released at midnight, I have already pre-ordered a copy and will be in line waiting for WoTLK as well. I will then play until I drop, which will be a long time since my record for longest continuous play is 4 straight days, and hopefully will be the first level 80 DK on my server.[/I]

its a tradition and i don't intend to break it. Also my friends that just went off

to collage will be skipping class that day to play with me and see who can hit

I'm taking at least a week off of work. I've been stockpiling consumables to level a death knight quickly so I can start grouping/raiding with my guild as soon as possible. At the very least, I hope to hit Northrend on my DK within the week.

Well i plan on buying a Collectors Edition for me and my brother. We've got all the other whelps so far so would be a shame not to have the new one. I plan on respecing my hunter so i can tame a devilsaur as soon as i get in the game. I then plan on taking the devilsaur some where and let it die over and over to get some just deserved payback :D. After i get that out of my system i plan on taking my hunter all the way to 80. Hes my first toon and ive played him 3 years so he should see 80 first. I dont plan on playing a DK, sure they seem cool and all but everyone will be playing them. Id much rather stick with my trusty hunter. I may take a few days off from work, but will use vacation and not call in, dont want to loose money. Other wise when it comes out i plan on playing it all night with my brother and generaly have a good time. Not the most exciting answer but its the truth :D.

When wotlk comes out im' going to have it already ( pre ordered and mailed via overnight ) at my doorstep in the morning. Since I have an IT Job I will most likely enjoy playing it while riding to work, while at work in the datacenter, while riding home, all night and repeat. I have already bought $750 worth of 5 Hour Energy Shots just for it. They are just sittin' there with the Tequila and Vodka waiting :P

First thing, of course, is to actually buy the game and stare at it with wide eyes as you drive home. Red lights will be your worst enemy, and green your best friend.
Second thing, Download and tap your finger impatiently while it does so. Luckly, we dont have to download a bunch of patches, so it should be rather quick. Woo!
FINALLY your ready to go. Log in, and enter world. The first thing I would do is, rather than do the overly populated quests, I would explore where I shouldn't go as a 70, and find some seige weapons...I hope Im not the only excited about those. After that becomes old, hearth to the big city and join battle for the new BG. No doubt I'll have to wait a full 5 seconds before getting in. Next day, I log on, and start questing. Maybe, (probably not) there will be fewer people.

Tada! Hope I get a key...If I do, I feel watching Charlie and the Chocolate factory would be nessacary. (the older version...the new one sucks.)

When Wrath comes out I look forward to leveling my hunter and my mage to 70 and getting them both geared and ready for end-game raiding. I also look forward to exploring the new content and trying out the deathknight.

When Wrath of the Lich King comes out I am going to buy my pre ordered game, and rushing home asap to install It and creating my DeathKnight and going to sleep because of the school. Next day after arriving at home, I start with picking up the professions (BS and later Inscription) leveing It, trying to go througth Outlands as fast as I can because I would like to catch up my friends and have a nice questing (again :) ) in Northrend together!

When I have the expansion, the very first thing that i will do will be to activate the new character shadows to the maximun value *.* I think it will be amazing. Next step, test my character, the barbershop.... etc.. and at last, test that amazing motorbike *.*

Well I see there are many others that have been eager to share their exciting and not so exciting plans for WoTLK. I too shall share my tale of "The night before Lich King".

Well as this dark story unfolds much like those of old, I'll take you back to one precarious night many years ago... when thousands of would be adventure's waited breathless for the gates of Lorderon to once again open themselves to a fresh breed of player yearning to step foot into what was to be one of the most compelling MMO's the world has ever seen.

As the winds of our home towns became still in anticipation for the coming storm that awaited us in the month of November on that 23rd day in the year Two-Thousand and Four when the "WORLD Of Warcraft" ceased to be myth and became a reality!

Then once the warriors and magefolk alike, that had braved battles beyond imagination defeating the likes of Nefarian,The Fire Lord Ragnaros, And Kel'Thuzad could throw at them.. The smallest hope of peace was shattered with a whisper....

"The Dark Portal"... Talk of it was heard from Humans to Orcs. Speaking of their ancestors or plans of conquest in this new land. And of alliances being formed from unlikely places. The embarkation of a journey with new allies from Silvermoon and outer reaches of space.

These heroes of Azeroth could afford no time to rest. The call to duty once again sounded and we rose with strength and vigor to discover what awaited us "Beyond the Dark Portal". And these new battles in Outland were much more fierce then any mortal could have expected. Razing the great tower of Kharazhan, foiling the plans of a the tyrant Kael'Thas, taking control of our precious water suply back from the Lady Vashj, and saving the World Tree. There was one remaining evil so terrifying it left you feeling that "YOU ARE NOT PREPARED!!". And we were.. Illidan, we were prepared!!

Now only the Sunwell Plateau awaits. As we worked to save a tortured soul to assist us in our efforts to stop the present threat against Azeroth, we learned more about our dreaded enemy Kil'jaeden. Many months of battle penetrating the plateau of the Sunwell, we arose victorious once more. But it short lived....

The air began getting colder and an ever pressing threat was growing in a not so distant land. An old friend awaits us once more... This is a battle of Royal proportions that stems from the very core of all of our lineage. The ultimate betrayal, corruption of good must be faced. As this icy presence begins to chill the bones of us all.. We have much to learn of our new adversary...

Perhaps I may be able to discover more to this story
and continue this tale after gaining more experience in the frozen plains of Northrend.
If I am so fortunate an adventurer to gain early entry to the BETA I will continue to ink tales of the epic adventures that await.

It disappoints me to see how many 1 posters got beta keys.. I hope there was double-checking against the same IP/MAC address as any user could simply recreate multiple accounts. Personally, I'd like to see a premium members only contest as a reward for their valued support.
