Some tips for all classes:
Warriors:
Warriors are the tanks of the game. This means they do the most damage and overpower everyone in PvP! Warriors get more rage when taking damage so its best never to use a shield or wear plate when “tanking” as this will reduce rage, and damage and tanking ability. Also never fight in defensive stance as it makes you cause less damage.
Hunters:
Pets and Long ranged weapons do little damage, and freeze traps seem to only work when you place them near the healer. So it’s best to just use melee weapons during battle. Oh and never use a pet during a dungeon as the pet will just run around attacking stuff you don’t want them to. Feign death is also useful to use if your group is going to wipe, but it doesn’t do much else.
Warlocks:
You are different from a mage because you cause damage over time (DoT). Its best at the start to place DoTs on all creatures, that way they die quickly. You like the hunter get pets, the best of which is the felguard. Your group will be impressed to see that thing charging everything. In fact the warrior might get jealous and tell you to put pet on passive. Don’t! He’s just jealous. Also Warlocks can make bread and water for the group.
Rogue:
Sorta of a dumb class…if you want to do damage become a warrior.
Druids:
Druids can turn into all sorts of creatures which resemble different classes. For instance the cat is like a warrior, and the bear is like a healer, but the tree is like a rogue (that is a bad warrior). The downfall of this class is that it has no crowd control abilities :’-(
Palladins:
These guys are among the best classes…they do the best damage, tank great, and but don't heal as good as priests!
Shamans:
Like Palladins.
Priest:
These guys heal, but can do a lot of damage. Always best to pull with mind control that way you can get one mob out of the way. Also, holy tree is crap, so just fight in shadow form. The healing is a little lower, but almost as good. Make sure to always fear in an instance, so you can fight one guy a time!
Mages:
Like weak warlocks…they don’t get a pet until they’re level 60 and then it only lasts for a minute! However, their AOE and Pyroblast rocks! Make sure at the start of the pull to use them to get mobs down fast! Some bad mages like sheeping elementals and the undead, but this is stupid! While sheeped mobs get their health back, so if your mage sheeps, make sure to attack it quick!
